With this vision, we invited Cristina to join our team, as the head of the groomers. She is a highly experienced professional blessed with love for animals. All years of experience and training have made Cristina an accomplished, experienced and skilled dog groomer.

Meet Cristina, the Groomer
As a child, Cristina was super obsessed with dogs. She was born in a Spanish family in which she was surrounded by so many little friends from the minute she was born. As she grew up, she took care of them and realized how important can dog grooming be and the fact that it must be done by professionals. Since she wanted to do her grooming herself, she decided to take academic and practical courses in this field to master this precise work.
Taking those courses made a huge difference in her life as a groomer and helped her gain further qualifications in this field. Meanwhile, in 2014 she moved to the United Kingdom permanently and started living here ever since. In her excellent background, we see 13 years of experience as a dog groomer and experience in the successful delivery of her dog grooming and dog training skills in both Madrid and London.
She devoted most of her life to taking care of dogs and trying to figure out ways in which owners can bond with their dogs. She is passionate about her job and dedicated to the little friends she works with. She has won many contests regarding pet and owner relationship contests which only proves how professional she has gotten over the years.
She has received many comments on her work saying how perfect she handles the job. Finally, she is even more accomplished when it comes to caring, grooming and training dogs. When it comes to dealing with dog owners and delivering what they require, Cristina is a fantastic choice.
Meet Miyuki, the Groomer
Miyuki story
Miyuki is from Japan. She has 13 years of dog grooming experience. Her childhood was always surrounded by animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits and fish. She enjoys working with animals especially dogs. This love and passion have made her successful in dog grooming and she is now an efficient and professional member at Mishka Grooming.

Miyuki believes that a groomer must consider dog personality, age, conditions and temperament during the grooming session. She always tries to listen to their voice from the inside of them to navigate through the best grooming opportunity. She thinks a key to make this happen is a combination of 3 fundamentals which is listening, observing and handling. It requires not only an excellent scissoring skill but paying attentions to dog’s feeling and consultation with owners to achieve a comfortable treatment for a dog first point of view.

Work experience

After graduation with grooming certificates, Miyuki started her carrier as a dog groomer in Japan for six years. During this period, She experienced everything from essentials to advanced skills, including Asian fusion, dying hair, design hair cut, team education and management.
Her passion for dog grooming kept her motivated to discover new aspects of the dog grooming skill set. Having had six years of work experience, she became ambitious to get some international experience. Miyuki loves communicating with people regardless of nationality. She believes dogs are everywhere in the world.
Therefore, she set off her journey to New Zealand. She enjoyed learning broader grooming skills and styles and worked for a total of six years in New Zealand.
Now, Miyuki is our stylist at Mishka grooming, and we are happy to have her in our team.
