Pet Groomers Covid-19 Certification

As the Covid-19 pandemic crisis is slowing down in terms of severity and number of cases it takes every day, many jobs and services can come back to work again. Mishka Dog Grooming has also planned a re-opening on Tuesday, 26th of May 2020, to welcome our fur friends back on our tables and comfortable crates.
To make sure we observe all the health precautions related to the global health crisis, Christina, our lovely groomer, successfully completed a course for Pet Groomers Covid-19 Certification.
This program is in line with the most current Covid-19 information that is accepted by Pet Grooming Professionals, and CDC and WHO health protocols.

Professional Pet Groomers Covid-19 Certification

Christina, our groomer has successfully completed a course for dog grooming during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Pet Groomers Covid-19 Protocols for Mishka

Below are our Pet Groomers Covid-19 Protocols to be observed during the pandemic.

Getting Our Workplace Ready for COVID-19

  • We have made sure to disinfect Surfaces (e.g.desks and tables) and objects (e.g.telephones, keyboards), hands, and pets regularly.
  • We spray or wipe clothing and aprons with a disinfectant right after receiving a pet.

Providing respiratory hygiene in our dog grooming salon

  • We wear face masks or paper tissues at our workplaces.
  • If our customers or we develop a runny nose or cough at work, all the surroundings will be disinfected.
  • We make sure that the air conditioning system works properly.

Promoting regular and thorough hand-washing by employees, contractors, and customers

We:

  • have hand rub dispensers in the workplace.
  • refill these dispensers regularly.
  • have put posters promoting hand-washing on walls.

To make things even better, our staff, contractors, and customers have access to soap and water

We have a plan if someone becomes ill with suspected COVID-19 at your workplace

  • We isolate the ill person in a room or area.
  • Then we limit the number of people who have contact with the sick person.
  • After making sure everything is under control, we contact the local health authorities.
  • We Consider identifying people who may be at risk, and support them, and avoid creating stigma and discrimination.
  • People who have recently travelled to an area reporting cases or other personnel who have conditions that put them at higher risk of serious illness (e.g., diabetes, heart and lung disease, older age) are under more control.

All of these pet groomers Covid-19 protocols are for making sure that we don’t put the health of our customers and puppies at risk. We can’t wait to see our paw pals again in our rainbow sanctuary.
