Please read our terms and conditions carefully before accepting or using our website or services. By confirming our terms and conditions, the dog owner or responsible accepts our grooming services. Our customers and us will agree on the style verbally, depending on the pets coat condition, age, lifestyle etc. Your pet’s welfare is the most highlighted principle in Mishka Grooming.
We do our best to make a pleasant environment for your pet during grooming and other services. By accepting our terms and conditions, you confirm:
- your pet is fit and healthy, and all details provided are correct.
- the groomer will not be held liable or responsible for irritation, abrasion, patchiness or hair loss due to any pre-existing skin conditions or as a result of the process of grooming, de-matting, thinning, stripping or shaving or any other mishap caused by the non-disclosure of your pet’s medical conditions
In the case, you are not 100% satisfied with grooming service, before leaving Mishka Grooming, you must notify us to resolve the issue.
- Payment condition:
You will have to pay in advance to receive the service. Cost estimates are based on the size, age or breed of your dog. But some pets need extra services. Therefore, the estimated cost is not the final cost, and you will have to pay the additional rate at the end if needed. Payment method is possible through cash and credit card.
Based on The Animal Welfare Act 2007 (No Pet will be subject to stress or discomfort) extra fees will be applied to matted dogs because grooming matted dogs takes longer and our equipment may be damaged.
- Aggressive tendencies and behaviour:
If your pet has bitten or has aggressive tendencies, you must inform us. Mishka Grooming reserves the right to use a muzzle or refuse/stop grooming if your pet represents aggressive tendencies and shows any danger for the staff or other dogs in the salon. However, the full start price will still be charged because, at that point, we cannot fill your appointment.
- Photography and Videography rights
We take photos and videos of the dogs groomed in our centre. We use the photo s and videos of dogs for purposes of marketing and promoting to demonstrate services and quality of work carried out. We may use the photo or the video of your pet on Mishka Grooming website and social media networks belonging to Mishka Grooming. If you have any problem with this procedure, please inform us. Any images or videos taken will be copyright of Mishka Grooming.
- Disease or parasites:
If you know your dog has fleas, ticks or any parasites, please let us know. We accept dogs with such problems on secluded days or at the end of the day. Extra fees may apply to these dogs for treatment, spending more time and extra cleaning.
- Veterinarian
By accepting our terms and conditions, you agree with emergency veterinary treatment if a medical emergency arises during grooming.
In the event veterinary advice is deemed necessary, you agree to initiate this within 24 hours of your dog’s groom.
Unfortunately, emptying anal glands are now deemed as a veterinary procedure, and therefore we are far prevented from performing this service.
- No shows or cancellation:
In the case of cancellation, you have to inform us 48 hours before your appointment to waive the no-show fee. Therefore, No show’s, last-minute cancellations (less than 48hrs) or late arrivals will be subject to £30 fee. We have the right to refuse you if you repeat it many times.
For booking an appointment, you need prepaid payment. The prepayment helps to guarantee to book the appointment. If you cancel your visit in 48 before your appointment, the prepayment is refunded or forwarded to the new appointment time. If you cancel your appointment in less than 48 hours, your prepayment will be refunded minus £30. If you do not show up to a booked appointment, the deposit is forfeited as a no-show fee. You will not be able to make any future appointments without payment in full at the time of booking.
Please bring your dog to Mishka Grooming on time and not earlier than your appointment.
